GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:
- book or cancel appointments online
- renew or order repeat prescriptions online
- view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results
You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices

If you would like to order your repeat prescriptions online or make appointments online please contact the surgery and ask to be signed up to EMIS access. The receptionist should be able to provide you with a full instruction letter and PIN on seeing proof of your identity (photo ID please). Please note that online prescriptions are only available for patients over the age of 16. We apologise if this causes any inconvenience but Patient Access integrates with patient data and we must protect patient confidentiality. This is also why we must be strict in requiring photographic ID.Learn More....
Electronic Prescribing is now fully functional and makes collecting prescriptions easier and more convenient for you. The service gives you the option to ‘nominate’ the place you choose to get your medication or appliance from so that they can receive your prescriptions electronically. This could save you a trip to the practice just to collect a prescription and is especially helpful if you have regular prescriptions. Ask a member of staff for more information or visit www.hscic.gov.uk/epspatients
